Statistics

Welcome to Statistics!

This course, in my curriculum, is a single semester course, designed to introduce students to the ideas of Statistics and Probability. The following common core state standards are tested:

  • Interpreting Categorical and Quantitative Data
  • Conditional Probability and the Rules of Probability
  • Using Probability to Make Decisions
  • Making Inferences and Justifying Conclusions

From here, the course is broken up into 6 units of study…

Unit 1: One-Variable Data

Unit 2: The Normal Distribution

Unit 3: Two-Variable Data

Unit 4: Collecting Data

Unit 5: Probability

Unit 6: Random Variables

You can explore my curriculum for each of the units above by clicking on the link! To learn more about the differences between my regular-level statistics course and my AP Statistics course, you can check out my blog post that answers some frequently asked questions.

Thank you and happy teaching!
